Owing to the tempestuous state of the weather, there was no meeting of
the Guardians , one only, Mr. Vicary, going to the Workhouse.

The Guardians have no power to give coffins to destitute persons who are
not in receipt of relief either in or out of the Workhouse, but the
Churchwardens have.
