CLARE GIRL ON MURDER CHARGE

At a Special Court in Limerick on Friday, District Justice
J. M. Flood fixed May 10th  for the hearing of the case
against Margaret Mary Harvey (23), Querrin, Kilkee, who was
charged with the murder of her illegitimate son, Michael,
aged 2½ years, whose body was found in lake near Limerick on
April 1st.  Mr. J. J. Power, State Solicitor, said the
taking of depositions would occupy three days
  The Justice said that a section of the public was taking
too sensational an interest in the case, and he had decided
to close the court to the public when taking depositions.
  Only solicitors engaged in the case Gardai, witnesses and
the Press would be admitted.
  Accused was remanded in custody until Thursday.
