Counties And Cities Of Ireland For Each Month During The 
Year 1841. Giving Name, Date Of Inquest, Where Held, And 
Finding Of Each Inquiry.

Note: "VISITATION FROM GOD" was a death where the cause was 
unknown.

accidentally burnt.

BRYAN, John, on the 10th Sept, at Tower, accidentally 
killed.

CAHILL, John, on the 23rd April, at Cartuaslimogue, died 
from the effects of a blow on the head, given by Andrew 
Quinn.

CLARKE, Mary, on the 15th Dec, at Baltiboys, accidentally 
burnt.

COSTELLO, Michael, on the 25th Jan, at Wicklow, was 
accidentally shot.

CRANLY, Patrick, on the 22nd Sept, at Bray, accidentally 
drowned.

burnt.

God.

DORAN, John, on the 20th Jan, at Kilcoole, died by 
visitation of God.

DOYLE, Catherine, on the 21st Jan, at Derrybawn, 
accidentally burnt.

ELLICE, Robert, on the 13th Nov, at Wreland,?, found 
drowned.

FITZPATRICK, Edward, on the 30th June, at Leitrim, 
accidental death.

HAMILTON, Patrick, on the 11th March, at Cloneen, 
accidentally killed.

infant child of Anne Henderson, died through the 
mismanagement and want of skill of Mary Perkins, midwife.

accidentally killed.

killed.

JACKSON, Thomas, on the 26th Oct, at Croneawinna, died by 
visitation of God.

KAVANAGH, John, on the 14th Oct, at Arklow, died by 
visitation of God.

KEAMS, Sally, on the 25th Aug, at Ballinclare, died by 
visitation of God.

KEEFFE, Hugh, on the 2nd Feb, at Rathdangan, died by 
visitation of God.

caused by having taken a quantity of soda in mistake for 
salts.

drowned.

accidental death.

visitation of God.

MURPHY, Thomas, on the 20th of Jan, at Arklow, accidentally 
drowned.

suicide.

NOWLAN, William., on the 8th May, at Baltinglass, died from 
an internal disease.

REDMOND, Maria, on the 2nd Aug, at Arklow, accidentally 
burnt.

REILLY, Bryan, on the 30th July, at Barncoyle, accidentally 
killed.

ROARK, John, on the 25th May, at Kilcanen, found suffocated 
in a pool of water.

God.

death.

apoplexy.
