THE CHRONICLES OF ROSS.

1601. Pardon to Robert Brennagh of Old Ross, and Richard 
O'Cahill of the same, Yeoman, 29th May.

1601. Grant to Walter Archer, of Rosse, Co. Wexford, Gent, 
of the wardship and marriage of Marcus Nevell, an idiot, son 
and heir of Richard Nevell, late of Ambrosetown, Co. 
Wexford, Gent, and custody of his lands during minority. 
Rent £4, of which 40/., is to be retained for maintaining 
the minor, with the usual clause for education in Trinity 
College, Dublin. Dated 30th May.

1602. Pardon to John White, of New Rosse, Yeoman, July 2nd.

1602. Pardon to Nugent fitz John, of Taghmon, Yeoman, and 
Dermod owre McMorriertaghbackagh, of Old Rosse, Gent, and 
O'Nory ny Neale, of same, July 15th.

1602. Pardon to Edward O'Gibbenny, of Molrancken, Harper, 
and Dowlyn McMorrough of Old Rosse, Gent, with others, 
provided they shall appear and submit themselves, and shall 
be sufficiently bound to keep the peace, pardon not to 
extend to murder. 1st Dec.
