He was born in County Wexford, Ireland. He came to this country over 56 years ago. He was a veteran of the Civil War. Survived by a wife and 3 sons, Andrew, Peter and William and two daughters Mrs. Michael Mullaney of Rhode Island and Mary Ann Pendergast of this city.
