Tenants on Ram Estate, Gorey, Co. Wexford in 1826
This is a list of 40 tenants on the estate of ABEL RAM
Esq. in county Wexford in 1826. The holdingsare in the
Gorey area (Civil parishes of Liskinfere, Kilmacilloge,
Kilcavan and Kilnahue) and one is in Finglas, Dublin. The
names are extracted from a single loose page rental in
the National Library ofIreland Ms. 8238 (18). The rental
also includes the number of acres in each holding, and
the rent due for each.This folder also contains other
rentals of the Ram estate for earlier and later dates.

The names are listedas spelled, and with the
abbreviations used, e.g. Reps. = Representatives; Robt.
= Robert; Wm=William etc.
