In the Name of God Amen I William Lynch Mariner of the 
County of Waterford in the Kingdom of Ireland but now on 
Board his Majesty’s Ship Portland being weak in Body but of 
sound Memory to avoid Controversies after my Decease do 
publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in 
manner and form following Vizt, I give and bequeath to my 
two Daughters Mary and Catherine Lynch my Tickett (for my 
Service on Board his Majesty’s Ship the Eltham) to be 
equally divided between them Item to Michl Royal belonging 
to the Portland all my Wearing Apparel with my Chest and 
Bedding And I do hereby Appoint Gerrod Christopher Parish 
Priest in Dungarvin in the County aforesaid to be my whole 
and Sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament Witness 
my Hand and Seal this twenty third day of January 1742 Wm 
Lynch his mark Signed and Sealed in the presence of us _

20 January 1743 Administration with Will annexed to Francis 
Fawkes lawful Attorney of the Reverend Gerrard Christopher 
now residing at Dungarvin in the County of Waterford in the 
Kingdom of Ireland
