In the Name of God Amen I Morgan Hearn of Dengarnan in the 
County of Waterford now belonging to his Majesty's Ship the 
Lephard and of and the        Hospital in Bloody Island in 
the Island Monorca being sick and weak but of sound and well 
disposing mind memory and understanding yet considering the 
Uncertainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof 
do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following 
That is to say first and principally I Commit my Soul into 
the Hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my body to the 
earth or sea as it shall please God to Order it and for my 
Worldly Goods and Effects the which it has the Almighty God 
to bestow on me I Give and dispose thereof as follows (that 
is to say)I give devise and bequeath unto my loving friend 
James White of Watterford but now of his Majesty's Ship the 
Bedford Man of War Mariner all and singular my sea pay and 
arrears of pay Prize and prize Money that I am possessed of 
or any ways Intitled unto I Give and dispose thereof as 
aforesaid unto the said James White his Executors 
Administrators and Assignes for ever and the said Morgan 
Hearn do hereby Nominate and Appoint my said Loving friend 
James White Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament 
hereby revoking and making Void all former Wills and 
Testaments by me at any time heretofore made In Witness 
whereof I the said Morgan Hearn have to this my last Will 
and Testament set my hand and Seal this fifteenth Day of 
October In the year of our Lord God one thousand seven 
hundred and forty five Morgan Hearn His Mark
