In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Connors of the City of 
Waterford being of sound mind memory and understanding but 
being weak in body do make and publish this my last Will and 
Testament hereby revoking and making null and void all and 
every other Will or Wills by me made I give devise leave and 
bequeath unto the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Orphan 
School in Johns Street in the City of Waterford the sum of 
two pounds British sterling I also leave devise and bequeath 
unto the Trustees of the Mendicant Asylum in the said City 
of Waterford the sum of two pounds british sterling I leave 
devise and bequeath the sum of five pounds sterling to Jane 
De Courcy of Kilkenny I leave devise and bequeath unto my 
dear friend & relative Catherine Connors of the Island of 
Laun the sum of thirty pounds sterling I leave devise and 
bequeath the sum of ten pounds sterling to the Reverend Mr 
Coleman of the City of Waterford these several & respective 
bequests I order and direct my hereinafter named Executor to 
pay off and discharge as soon after my decease as he can and 
as the nature of the case will allow and also that he my 
said Executor shall also pay off such debts as I shall owe 
at the time of my decease And for the purpose of enabling 
him my said Executor to perform the trusts in him reposed by 
this my last Will and Testament I give devise leave and 
bequeath unto my said Executor all and every sort of 
property estate & effects which I shall die seized or 
possessed of or to which I am or shall be in any wise 
entitled unto and particularly my personal and other 
property in the hands possession power custody or keeping of 
Messrs Newman Hants & Christophers of London and after 
payment of such bequests legacies and debts as aforesaid I 
do hereby leave and bequeath unto my dear friend Mr John 
Campion of the said City of Waterford all and every the 
residue and remainder of my estate property fortune and 
effects of every nature and kind whatsoever and wheresoever 
to be found to which I am now entitled or to which I may or 
shall hereafter become entitled And I do hereby nominate 
constitute and appoint him the said John Campion the sole 
Executor of this my last Will and Testament and my residuary 
Legatee In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
seal this fifth day of January in the Year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred & thirty five Joseph Connors X his
