THE O'CALLAGHANS OF SHANBALLY, PARISH OF SHANRAHAN

The following entries are from a MS. Preserved at Kilboy, 
County Tipperary, in the possession of Lord Dunalley, and 
relate to the O'Callaghan family, of Shanbally, in this 
parish, which became extinct on the death of the late 
Viscount Lismore: --

My son Robert was born July the 10th, 1710.
My son Cornelius was born August the 27th, 1711.
My son Donal was born July the 28th, 1712.
My son Thomas was born August the 15th, 1713.
My daughter Mary was born August 26th, 1714.
My son William was born July the 10th, 1715.
My son Matthew was born July the 11th, 1716.
My daughter Ellenor was born July the 25th, 1717.
My daughter Mary was born July the 10th, 1718.
My daughter Margarett was born January the 18th, 1719.
My daughter Penelope was born January the 29th, 172(?)
My daughter Leonora was born May the 28th, 1723.
My son Timothy was born June the 20th, 1725.
My daughter Lucretia was born November the 19th, 1728.
My daughter Mariamne was born September the 14th, 1730.
My grandson Cornelius, my son Thomas' eldest son, was born 
January the 8th, 1740/41.
Anne Callaghan, born ye 14th of September, 1741, between 3 
and 4 o'clock in the morning.  Hamstead.
Mary Callaghan, born the 25th of October, 1742, between 6 
and 7 o'clock in the morning.  Nicholas Street.
Elizabeth Callaghan, born the 10th of January, 175(?).
