In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Monsell of Redwood in the 
County of Tipperary Esqr do make this my last Will and 
Testament revoking all former ones that is to say I leave 
and bequeath all my right title and interest in the lands of 
Kilbreedy Howardstown & Knockmacree to the Revd Archdeacon 
Monsell in trust for the following purposes that is to say 
to permit and suffer the two daughters of my late Son Thos 
Monsell and also my Son John Deveynes Monsell to enjoy and 
possess same during their natural lives and after their 
decease to the use of their Children & on default of issue 
the remainder over to my right heirs the said John D Monsell 
to enjoy half of said Property the other half to go share 
and share alike between the two daughters of my said Son 
Thos limited as aforesaid I also will & devise to the said 
Archdeacon Thos Monsell all my right title and interest in 
the lands of Kilkep and Curraghduff the lands of Slevoir 
Lahinch Belle Isle & Grange in the County of Tipperary 
together with the lands & Woods in Kelsoner in sd County & 
all other Woods my Property as also my ground in Limerick on 
which the Old Theatre stood as also my lands at Umlock & 
Knockree in the County of Clare in trust for the use of my 
Son Richard Monsell for his natural life with remainder over 
to his issue lawfully begotten with remainder over to my 
right heirs it is also my Will that all money advanced me by 
the Countess Clanricarde Judgment or otherwise should first 
be discharged she giving me Credit for such Property of mine 
as she is possessed of after a Sale of the same And I hereby 
devise and Will to my beloved Wife Margaret Monsell all 
other property of mine which I shall die possessed of at the 
time of my decease whether real or Personal Signed Sealed & 
delivered in the presence of us & of the Testator April the 
17th 1824 Thos Monsell _ Sarah Clark _ Ellen Clark _ John 
Egan 
I Thomas Monsell declare this to be a Codicil to my last 
Will and Testament that is to say I devise will and bequeath 
all my title and interest in the lands of Kilbreedy 
Howardstown and Knockamaree to my Son Jno Devoynes Monsell 
and his heirs situate lying and being in the Parish of 
Brinree Barony of Small County and County of Limerick given 
under my hand & Seal this 22nd day of October 1830 
Administration with Will annexed of the Goods & so forth of 
Thomas Monsell formerly of the City of Dublin but late of 
Slevoir in the County of Tipperary Barrister at Law deceased 
to John Patterson of Westmorland Street Dublin the lawful 
substitute of Thomas Coles Edward Goldsund George Carr Glynn 
and Jonathan Brich Esqr all of the Globe Company Office 
Cornhill of the City of London 20 March 1834
