Extracted from the Registry of His Majestys Court of 
Prerogative in Ireland

In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Everard D.D. on this day 
Tuesday the Tenth of May one thousand eight hundred and 
twenty at Summerville in my Residence near Cashel in the 
County of Tipperary make this my last Will and Testament I 
give and bequeath to my Sister Bridget Everard five hundred 
Pounds to my half Brothers John and Pierce Everard and to my 
half Sister Mary Feehan Seven hundred and fifty Pounds to be 
equally divided among the three last mentioned of their 
lawful Heirs that is Two hundred and fifty Pounds to each 
All the above Legacies to be paid to them or their lawful 
Heirs Provided the Person or Persons benefited by this my 
Will make no attempt to have it broken or to defeat in any 
respect my intention herein expressed In case such an 
unsurmountable attempt should be made by all or any one of 
my Relatives it is my Will that such Relatives or Relative 
shall be excluded from any Share whatsoever of my Property I 
give and bequeath to my beloved friend the Revd Daniel 
Murray of N. Cumberland Street Dublin five hundred Pounds 
to my Cousin Thomas Butler of Ballycarron Three hundred 
Pounds To his Uncle Richard Butler of Sungborough Three 
hundred Pounds to enable him to give £100 to each of his 
three Daughters To my old faithful Servant Elizabeth 
Boardman five hundred pounds To my faithful Servant Thomas 
Molloy five hundred Pounds and all my Wearing Apparel To 
each of my other Servants who may live in my Service at the 
time of my death one Years Wages with a Suit of Mourning To 
Mrs Martha Moore of No. 18 Manor Street Dublin Two hundred 
pounds fifty Pounds to each of the four following Relatives 
Thomas and Toby Butler of Cahir Richard Butler of 
Ballystateen and Morgan Brien in the Parish of New Inn To 
the Poor of the Parishes of Kilmoyler and Bansha one hundred 
Pounds to be equally divided giving fifty Pounds to the Poor 
of each Parish To the Poor of the Parish where I may depart 
this Life fifty Pounds and fifty pounds to the Poor of the 
Parish where I may be buried my Will and meaning is that all 
the Legacies herein bequeathed be paid as soon as convenient 
after my decease in full free of all Expence to the Persons 
mentioned by me I hereby give and bequeath to my aforesaid 
friend Daniel Murray every thing else of which I may be 
Possessed in any Place and to which I may be entitled all 
Tenements ready Money Property in the Public funds Bank of 
Ireland Stock Grand Canal Shares And I hereby appoint the 
said Daniel Murray sole Executor of this my last Will and 
Testament all written by myself and signed and sealed by me
