'Memorials inside the New Church' :-
'Mural tablets in the chancel of white marble to the
memory of' :-
1] "The Rev. Edwin ORMSBY rector of the Templemore Parish
and for thirty-five years clergyman of this diocese, &c."
2] "John BENNETT, Esq. of Old Town, died Feb. 4th, 1869,
erected by his widow and children."
3] "Captain W. Chaloner BISSE 73rd Regiment, died June 8th,
1849 aged 27 years. Erected by his brother officers."
'The East window, of stained glass' :-
"This window is placed by Sir John Craven CARDEN, Bart., to
the memory of Caroline Elizth. Mary. 1st wife and to
Constance Laura, their daughter, 1876"
'Mural tablets in the Nave, all but one of white marble,
to memory of': 1] "Richard Martin FORSAYTH, M.D. for
forty-five years Physician in this Parish who died November
29th, 1876

2] "Major Richard Butler WILLINGTON 77th East Middlesex
Regiment who died at Murree in the Punjaub, East Indies on
the 1st of September 1868. His brother officers have
erected this tablet."

3] "David RING aged 57 years died March 29th, 1875.
Margaret, his wife aged 61 died June 12th, 1876. Erected by
his children."
4] "Robert RING M.I.C.E. eldest son of the above David RING
died at Mandalay, Burmah, Jany. 1890. Was born Septr. 30,
1847."
5] "Richard Jesse LLOYD, Esq. Lieutenant 59th Regiment,
aged 24 died 14th, Octr, 1847. Erected by his brother
officers"
6] "John BUTLER of Park, aged 43 years, died 2nd Sept.
1856"

"In memory of Sir John Craven, Bart. who died 23rd
March, 1879 aged 59 years. Erected by his widow

of four red marble pillars; there are small green marble
balls imbedded round it; and there is a verse round the edge
of the bowl concerning its use; at the foot is an inscribed
brass plate' :-
"Erected by her Aunts Harriet and Constance CARDEN, her
grand aunt and god-mother Charlotte EGERTON and cousin Gene
EGERTON in loving memory of Evelyn Caroline Mary, only and
dearly beloved child of Hastings and Beatrice BROOKE, born
at Templemore Abbey June 9th, 1869 baptized in this church
June 30th, 1869 died at Nice Feby. 28th, 1875"
'A lectern - "In memory of Mary LLOYD April 18th 1858"
"Four 100-candle power lamps have been hung from the
roof this year;

years died April 24th, 1881. erected by his parishioners and
friends, Isa. 26. 3."
2] "Hubert R. KERANS, infant son of Surgeon-Major W.R.
KERANS, A.M.D. and Amie, his wife, died Oct. 3, 1881"
3] "Alexander BURNS died Dec. 23, 1889, aged 67 years"
4] "John TURNER died May 5, 1810 aged 53 years. Anne his
wife died April 6, 1857 aged 77 years, Mary Anne, only
daughter died March 6, 1832, aged 15 years. William, eldest
son died May 12, 1836, aged 20 years"
5] "Garner Joseph HOLMES, Esq. of Lisduff in this county
died March 21 1815 aged 30 years. Garner John, infant son of
above died October 16, 1811, aged 6 months."
6] "Sacred to the memory of the Rev. Robt. Carew ARMSTRONG,
Rector of this Union, who departed this life January 6th,
1838, aged 82 years. This monument has been erected by his
family as a small token of their respect and gratitude"

"Arthur Thomas STAUNTON, son of Lieut-Colonel T.S. ST,
CLAIR, II, Royal Berkshire Regiment and Constance, his wife
died December 13, 1889, aged 6 years"

Manna Cottage, Templemore and daughter of the late Colonel
TUNPEON, Royal Marines, Chatham, Kent, died Feb. 7, 1869
aged 72 years, Also Lieut. Paul Kyssin CARDEN, Royal
Marines, Manna Cottage, Templemore died March 27, 1873 aged
79 years, and their grandson, H.M.CARDEN died January 21,
1876 aged 12 years - Job 19, 25, Rev. xiv. 13, Mal. 3, 17"
[This tomb is flat but has a headstone with the CARDEN
crest and motto, &c.]
9] "Maria EVANS, relict of the late Robert Stevelly HOOPER
Esq. of Tipperary, died September 3, 1817 aged 61 years.
erected by her children"
10] "Richard Martin FORSAYTH, his wife Christianna Rosetta,
and their sons Robert, John and Richard" "Treasure in
Heaven"
11] "Sacred to the memory of Daniel James WEBB, Esq who
departed this life October 21st, 1850 aged 70 years. also

23rd, 1859 aged 73 years"

aged 32 years. Also her mother, Mrs. George JACKSON of
Templemore. Died Dec. 12 1874 aged 77 years. To the memory
of his father George JACKSON this stone is erected Dec.

wife who died Janr. 6th 1819 aged 35 also Sarah, 2nd wife
died April 8th 1853 aged 28"
16] "William, son to John FITT of Templemore, died May 13th.

17] "Erected by Mary A. O'BRIEN to her husband John O'BRIEN
died July 18, 1875 aged 85 years. Also the above Maryanne
O'BRIEN died Aug. 2, 1888 aged 91 years"
18] "Francis H. BANKS, Esq. of Templemore, died Sept 29th
1832 aged 68. Also Emma BANKS his wife died Augt. 28 1838
aged 72"
19] "Robert BANKS late of the City of Dublin, the only
brother of Francis BANKS of Templemore who died Nov. 27th,
1827"
20] "To the memory of .................... also their
children Jane DAVIS died 1821 aged 8; Armstrong DAVIS,
Surgeon died July 30th, 1847 aged 33; the Revd. Samuel
Wesley DAVIS sometime Curate of Athlone died Mar. 28, 1852

2nd royal Berks Regt., died Augt. 9th 1890 aged 1 year 4

28] "Color-Sergeant James DUNN of 98th Regt. died May 10,
1872, aged 33 years. - Mark x. ?4, Suffer, &c. And of
Sergeant William HULL of same corps died July 10, 1872 aged
33. Also Color-Sergeant Daniel HAYES 109th Regiment
(attached), died May 2, 1872, aged 33 years. Erected by the
sergeants of the 98th."
