HARAN, DANIEL H. FEBRUARY 9, 1930

Park record, Park City, Utah, Feb. 14, 1930
The death of Daniel H. Haran, last Sunday evening at his
residence on Woodside Avenue, came so sudden that it was
hard for his family to fully realize that the Reaper was
within their circle making his demands, but such was the
case, and the husband, father, and friend to countless
numbers was spared any suffering at the close of his earthly
career, a consideration that was justly due him.

Deceased was born in Bellena, County Sligo, Ireland, March
14, 1878 (nearly 54 years ago). He came to the United States
in 1894 and for 10 years lived in New York and Pennsylvania.
In 1901 he came to Park City, Utah and has been a permanent
resident here more than a quarter century. His passing was
on Feb. 9.

He is survived by his widow, and the following children:
Leo, James, Anna, Ethel and Katherine; also two brothers
Patrick in Brooklyn, NY and John, in Ireland, also sisters
Anne McGrath, Mrs. Jane Sherrin and Mary Haran, Scranton,
Penn.

Funeral services conducted by Father Butler, were held
Wednesday morning and the remains taken to Salt Lake City
under direction of G.M. Archer. Interment in Calvary
cemetery.
