Lowell, MA 19 Feb. 1940 Mrs. Annie (McDermott) Mulligan, wife of the late James B. Mulligan and a well known resident of St. Margaret's parish, died late Saturday night at her home 208 Shaw street. Born in County Sligo, Ireland, daughter of the late Patrick and the late Margaret (Fitzpatrick) McDermott, she came to this country more than 50 years ago and settled in St. Patrick's parish where she lived for a number of years, afterwards moving to St. Peter's parish, where she resided before removing to her present residence, 208 Shaw street. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Ella J. Mulligan, member of the faculty of the C.W. Morey school, and Mrs. John A. Casey of this city, besides many nieces and nephews.
