In the Name of God Amen I Denis Croghan of Roscomon in the 
County of Roscomon Doctor in Physick being in perfect health 
in sound and well disposed mind and memory Praised be 
Almighty God therefore but considering my mortality and the 
Certainty of Death and uncertainty of the time thereof do 
therefore make publish and declare this to be my last Will 
and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I 
do give and bequeath unto my best beloved Wife Mary Croghan 
all my Worldly Substance and whatsoever I shall be possessed 
of at the hour of my death reserving only the Sum of twenty 
pounds for my little boy Edward Wall my best beloved Wife 
Mary Croghan is to see him put to Apprenticeship and take 
care of him therein and when out of it to settle him 
properly and see that he does not lavish his Money 
improperly as I leave her my Wife whole and sole Executrix 
of all my Worldly Substance In Witness whereof I have my 
hand and Seal this first January One thousand seven hundred
