In the Name of God Amen I Thos McCue late of Clones County 
Monaghan Ireland at present Seaman on board and belonging to 
His Majesty's Ship Regulus No 673 on sd Ss Bs being in 
bodily health & of sound & disposing mind & memory and 
Considering the dangers and Perils of the Seas and other 
uncertainties this Transitory life do (for avoiding 
Controversies after my decease) make publish & declare this 
my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to 
say) first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it & my body 
I commit to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order 
& as for & concerning all my Worldly Estate I give bequeath 
& dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say) to my dearly 
beloved Mother Margaret McCue of Clones aforesaid all such 
Wages Prize Money Sum or Sums of Money etc. etc. whatsoever 
as shall be any ways due owing or belonging unto me at the 
time of my decease I do give devise and bequeath the same 
unto the said Margaret McCue of Clones aforesaid And I do 
hereby nominate and appoint the said Margarett McCue my 
whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament 
And in case the said Margaret McCue is dead I do give devise 
and bequeath all such Wages Prize Money Sum or Sums of Money 
etc. etc. as whatsoever as shall be any ways due owing or 
belonging unto me at the time of my decease unto my dearly 
beloved Uncle Thomas Armstrong of Clones aforesaid And I do 
in case my Mother the said Margaret McCue is dead I nominate 
and appoint the said Thomas Armstrong my whole and sole 
Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking 
all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift by 
me at any time heretofore made And I do hereby ratify and 
ordain these Presents to stand and be for and as my only 
last Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said 
Will I have put my Hand and Seal this thirty first day of 
August in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred 
and ninety seven and in the thirty seventh Year of the Reign 
of His Majesty King George the third over Great Britain etc. 
Thos McCue his X mark Signed Sealed delivered and published 
in the presence of Geo: Eyre Captain Geo Da....... Purser 
Proved at London 14 February 1800 to Margaret McCue Widow
