OBITUARIES: DRAYCOTT, JOHN 1639

Sr JOHN DRAYCOTT of Mornantowne in the County of Meath Knt
deceased eldest Sonne and heir of HENRY DRAYCOTT of
Mornantowne Esqr sometime Mr of the  Rolles in Ireland
second son of     DRAYCOTT of Densby in Staffordshire in the
Kingdom of England Esqr.  The said first mentioned Sr JOHN
DRAYCOTT took to Wife ANN Daughter of CHRISTOPHER BARNWELL
of Turvey in the County of Dublin Knt. by whom he had issue
HENRY eldest son and Heir who took to wife MARY Daughter of
the late Honble MATHEW PLUNKETT Lod. Baron of Louth by whom
he had issue JOHN DRAYCOTT eldest Son and heir that married
ELIZABETH Daughter of RICHARD TALBOTT of Malahide in the
County of Dublin Esqr. and hath issue by her Sons and
daughters all young and as yet unmarried.The said HENRY had
to his second Son WALTER to his third son RICHARD his fourth
Son OLIVER and HENRY DRAYCOTT fifth son . The said first
mentioned Sr JOHN DRAYCOTT had to his second Son CHRISTOPHER
DRAYCOTT who took to his wife ELIZABETH Daughter of DOWLING
of Droghedah       PATRICK third Sonn married to ROSE
Daughter of                 BEATAGH of     The said first
mentioned Sr JOHN DRAYCOTT had also issue three Daters. Viz,
ALSON eldest daughter as yett unmarried, ELIZABETH 2d
daughter married to JOHN CHEEVERS of Ballihoe Gent and ISMA
third Daughter married to EDMOND HOSSY of Molchassy in the
County of Meath Esqr The said first mentioned Sr JOHN
DRAYCOTT departed this mortall Life at Mornhentowne the 6th
Day of February 1639 and ws Interred in the Parish Church of
Mornantown aforesaid the 10th of the same month. The truth
of the Premisses is testified by the Subscription of JOHN
DRAYCOTT Esqr. Grandchild and heir of the Said Defunct who
hath returned this Certificate into my Office to be there
recorded. Taken by me THOMAS PRESTON Esqr. Ulvester King of
Armes the 20th Day of May 1640.
