Valuable Fee Simple Estates, situated in The County of the 
Town of Galway, The County of Galway, and The County of 
Mayo. To be sold by auction in seventeen Lots For Sale, on 
Friday the 19th day of November 1852.

LOT NO 9: Rental of the Lands of TOURARD, situate in the 
Barony of Kilmaine, and County of Mayo. This Lot is situated 
within one mile and a half of Headford, eight miles from 
Ballinrobe, three miles from Shruel, and sixteen miles from 
Galway. It contains about 100 Acres of Tillage land; the 
remainder is interspersed with Lime-Stone Rock, and affords 
good pasture for sheep and young cattle, and is plentifully 
supplied with water.The public road from Headford to 
Ballinrobe is the South-Western boundary. The Ordnance 
Survey states the contents to be 408A-3R-9P. To be sold 
discharged of Quit Rent, which will be redeemed out of the 
Purchase Money.  OBSERVATION: Some Rents have been abated 
downwards by the Court of Chancery, per Annum, but such 
abatements is not binding on the purchaser.

Barony of Clanmorris and County of Mayo. This Lot is 
situated within one mile of the beautiful Demesne of 
Castlemagarrett, three miles from Hollymount, and two miles 
from the town of Ballindine; the Lands are well laid out, 
fenced and watered, and well adopted for Tillage, sheep 
pasture, or meadow, they are traversed by good public roads, 
leading to Tuam, Castlebar, Hollymount, &c.  
OBSERVATION: Some Rents have been abated downwards by the

situated two miles south-west of Ballindine, four miles from 
Hollymount, and two miles from the Church, Chapel, and 
Demesne of Crossboyne. About one-half of the Lot is well 
adapted for Tillage, and the bottom lands produce excellent 
Grass and Meadow. The old road from Tuam to Castlebar is the 
southern boundary. To be sold discharged of Quit Rent, which

Barony of Kilmaine and County of Mayo. This Lot is situated 
within one mile of Crossboyne, and nearly midway between the 
towns of Hollymount and Ballindine. The land is well adapted 
for Meadow and Pasture. A small outlay to improve the 
natural drainage would increase the present value 
considerably. It is traversed by the roads from Tuam to 
Hollymount, and from Crossboyne to Shruel.  OBSERVATION:
