ENCUMBERED ESTATE PROPERTY OF ROBERT JONES, ESQ. (HOUSE AND 
PREMISES) BALLINA TOWN 1854

For Sale, on Friday the 31st day of March 1854.

LOT NO 24: House and premises in the Town of Ballina County 
Mayo. As held for the term of 999 years from 29th September 
1740, under lease made by LORD TYRAWLEY to THOMAS JONES, at 
the rent £18-8s late currency, equivalent to £14-5s-4d 
sterling, with 12 pence late currency in the pound, 
Receiver's fee. The lands of Gurteens and part of 
Ballinadarig, not to be sold in this matter, are demised by 
the same Lease. The rent and fees amount to £15-7s-10d. 
which has been apportioned, by order of the Commissioners, 
against the landlord, and £1-6s. is the portion of the rent 
to which the Lot is liable.

DESCRIPTIVE PARTICULARS: Houses and Gardens in John Street 
and Crossmolina road, looking down upon King Street. This is 
one of the best sites for a Public Building or Commercial 
Establishment in Ballina.

Note: Frontage to John Street and Crossmolina Road, 168 feet.
