BALLINVILLA CEMETERY, BRICKENS

Sign posted from the road between Ballyhaunis and Clonfad 
coming from Irishtown. Ballinvilla Cemetery is near 
Brickens, between Cloonfad and Claremorris, County Mayo 
Ireland

Total records =13

According to locals this graveyard used to be a private 
cemetery for the family in the "Big House." The house is now 
demolished the graveyard overgrown and forgotten. I am told 
that there are also many unnamed children buried here, with 
no markers or headstones.

I walked and surveyed this burial place in July of 2001. 
This includes all existing and legible stones and markers.
