Recorded: March 15, 2018

In the Name of God Amen I Rodolphus Hobbs Reardon Barrick
Master of Drogheda being of sound mind memory and
understanding do make and declare this my last Will and
Testament in manner following I give and devote my Soul and
body living and dying as a reasonable Service unto my
Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ who purchased me with his own
Blood and I have no other plea but Jesus lived and died for
me of my Worldly substance of what sort soever I may die
possessed of moneys goods houses lands or insurances my Will
and wish is that each of my children should possess an equal
share of the same on conditions hereafter to be mentioned I
first will to my Wife Maria Reardon ten pounds to purchase
mourning if she likes to wear it I give her no more as she
my said Wife has a sufficient income of her own for her
support and does not require me to take from my Children the
names of my Children are as follows 1 Annabella 2 Sophia 3
James & 4 Mary Reardon Conditions alluded to above Now I beg
that it may be clearly understood that as I believe my Wife
has willed her fortune to my daughter Annabella aforesaid
that in case she realizes what her mother has willed her she
will share as above directed with my other children of any
part of my property and again I beg that it may be
understood as my daughter Sophia aforesaid was left five
hundred pounds by Grandmother her share of what I die
possessed of will only be as much as to make it equal with
the rest of my Children who may share as above directed It
will be clearly seen from what I have written it is my wish
and will that each of my Children should have an equal share
considering what has been left to the two eldest daughters
by will I will that none of my children receive their share
by this will until they are 21 years old and should any of
them die unmarried before age their share to be divided
between the surviving children should any of my daughters
marry and not have issue they shall only possess a life
interest in their share of my property it shall revert to
the survivors or their heirs lawful issue I make this clause
to prevent my daughters being taken in by some designing
persons that might marry them for their money I leave my
father's Watch which I have worn for many years to my
daughter Annabella as I am sure she will take care of it I
leave to Sophia a Locket with a Bonaparte Hair given to me
by Madame Bertrand at Saint Helena in 1818 I further leave
my daughter Annabella a Ring with a Bonaparte Hair given to
me by Madame Bertrand at Saint Helena in 1818 there may be
other trinkets not willed but particulars respecting them
will be found in a small red book which I trust that my
Children will pay particular attention to as directed my
prayer and wish is that my children may live together in
love and harmony I leave my daughter Annabella the sole
Guardian of her sister Mary until she is of age I will that
there be no division of my property until twelve months
after my death notwithstanding anything before willed I will
to my only son James any interest I may have at Tipperary as
it is a small freehold Now having disposed of my earthly
goods except what may be sold by Auction I pray the Lord
Jesus Christ to give me a happy resigned Comfortable
triumphant release from this World such through Grace and
mercy was vouchsafed to my dearly and much beloved Son
Robert Harrington who fell asleep in Jesus at Drogheda
Barracks (aged 19 years) on the 10th of January 1845
rejoicing much in Jesus and telling all around what a dear
Saviour he had found I appoint my Nephew Thomas Reardon of
Tipperary and my eldest daughter Annabella Reardon my
Executors to see this Will put in force The foregoing is my
last Will and Testament dated at Drogheda this
