The larger one belongs to a family called Page, well known in Dundalk in olden times. Also the remains of | Mrs Hannah Atkinson Wife of David Atkinson | Esqr of Channen Rock who departed this life on | 9th day of July 1815, Aged 84 years.Here also are deposited the remains of the said | David Atkinson Esq late of Channen Rock | who departed this life on the 25th day of March | 1816, in the 84th year of his Age: | George G. Atkinson Esqr Corderry died | 18th August 1855, Aged 54 years. Note:- Captain David Atkinson, of Corderry, was third son of David Atkinson, of Channon Rock.His wife was Mary Jane, daughter of Benjamin Bell, of Ballynewry, Co. Armagh.She died 3rd June 1820.David Atkinson, of Channon Rock, was second son of George Atkinson of Dundalk, by Margaret, daughter of David Gaussen, of Newry.His wife, Hannah, was daughter of John Trueman, of Brockley, Co Armagh, by Mary Smith.John Fleming, of the Hill, Monaghan, was married to Mary Atkinson, granddaughter to David and Jan Atkinson.
