In the Name of God Amen I Timothy Mahair Seaman belonging to 
His Majestys Ship Leviathan being weak in health but of a 
sound and disposing Mind and Memory do for avoiding 
Controversies after my decease make publish and declare this 
my last Will and Testament in manner and form following 
(that is to say) I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved 
father Darby Mahair residing at Canckarielagh near Limerick 
my two Brothers Daniel Mahair Shoemaker Irish Town Limerick 
and Patrick Mahair Schoolmaster Silver Mine County of 
Tipperary after all my Just Debts are paid the one half of 
all wages Sum and Sums of Money Lands tenements Goods 
Chattels and Estate whatsoever as shall be any ways due 
owing or belonging unto me at the time of my decease I do 
give devise and bequeath the same unto my dearly beloved 
father Darby Mahair and the other half to be equally divided 
between my aforesaid Brothers Daniel Mahair Shoemaker and 
Patrick Mahair Schoolmaster and in Case of my father's death 
the whole to be equally divided between my aforesaid 
Brothers And I do hereby nominate and appoint my dearly 
beloved father my whole and sole Executor of this my last 
Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other 
wills Testaments and Deeds of Gifts by me at any time 
heretofore made and I do ordain and ratify these Presents to 
stand and be for and as my only last Will and Testament In 
Witness whereof to this my said Will I have set my hand and 
Seal the twenty sixth day of August in the Year of our Lord 
one thousand eight hundred and one and in the fortieth year 
of the Reign of His Majesty King George the third over Great 
Britain etc. Naval Hospital Martinique 26 August 1801
