In the Name of God Amen I James Bouchier of Ardkilmartin in 
the County of Limerick Esquire being of sound and disposing 
mind and wishing to dispose of such property as I may die 
possessed of or entitled unto do make this my only last will 
& Testament ffirst I leave devise and bequeath unto my 
brother John Bouchier and my friend John Boles Reeves whom I 
hereby appoint Exors and Trustees of this my Will All my 
estate and fortune of every kind and nature whatsoever to be 
disposed of in manner hereinafter mentioned that is to say 
in the first place to pay off and discharge my just debts 
and particularly the sum of one thousand pounds to Miss 
Keane in which my friend Joseph Bouchier is joined as a 
security with me and after payment thereof then I leave and 
bequeath unto the said John Bouchier the sum of five 
thousand pounds sterling and unto my brother Joseph Bouchier 
the sum of five thousand pounds ster to be paid to him at 
his age of twenty one years or as soon as my said personal 
fortune shall be received by my said Executors I leave and 
bequeath unto my three sisters Mary Ann and Eliza the sum of 
five thousand pounds ster to be equally divided between them 
and to be payable at their respective ages of twenty one 
years or days of marriage whichever shall first happen or as 
soon after as the same shall be received by my said 
Executors I leave and bequeath unto the said John Boles 
Reeves the sum of three thousand pounds sterling And I also 
leave and bequeath unto his sister Arabella Reeves the sum 
of one thousand five hundred pounds sterling and to his 
other sisters Lucy Mary and Catherine Reeves the like sum of 
one thousand five hundred pounds sterling to be equally 
divided between them and the survivors of them at their 
respective ages of twenty one years or days of marriage or 
as soon after as the same shall be received by my Exors as 
aforesaid and in case any failure or insufficiency shall 
happen in my said personal fortune so as that the same may 
not be sufficient for the discharge of the said specific 
legacies hereinbefore bequeathed then and in such case it is 
my will and desire that such insufficiency shall be borne 
and sustained by the said legatees proportionally according 
to the amount of the sums arising to my said legatees under 
this my will and it is also my will and desire that my said 
Exors shall not be accountable for any loss or failure which 
may arise in any securities for money or otherwise and that 
neither of them shall be answerable or liable to the acts or 
defaults of the other And of this my will I hereby 
constitute and appoint the said John Bouchier and John Boles 
Reeves Exors and residuary legatees of all my estate and 
fortunes In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and 
seal & declared this to be my last Will and Testament this 
third day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety
