QUINLIVAN, EDMOND AKA EDWARD JULY 5, 1850

DIED.  July 5, in Limerick, Edmond Quinlivan, Esq., brother 
to the present mayor of that city.  

Mayor of Limerick in 1850 was Lawrence/Laurence Quinlivan 
(c1804-1876).  EDMOND was also known as EDWARD Quinlivan as 
the 25 Jan 1851 edition of Irish American Weekly states in 
his wife's obituary:  "In William street, Limerick, after 
child-birth, Susan, widow of the late EDWARD Quinlivan, Esq. 
merchant, (brother of the Mayor of Limerick), whose death by 
fever, occurred only a few months since."  Index records at 
IFHF (http://www.rootsireland.ie) has the following record:  
County Limerick / Parish: ST. MICHAEL'S (RC) / Church 
Baptism / Quinlivan Susanna / Year 1850 / Father:  Edmond 
Quinlivan.  Unknown if this child of Susan and Edmond / 
Edward Quinlivan survived.
