To the Registrar Appointed by Act of Parliament for 
Registering Deeds Wills and so forth in Ireland

A Memorial of an Indented Deed of Lease Made the Second day 
of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight 
hundred Sixty Between Carroll O GRADY of Shorepark in the 
county of CLARE, Esquire, Medical Doctor & William Lane 
JOYNT of George St. in the city of LIMERICK Esquire Trustees 
named in a certain settlement dated the third day of August 
One thousand Eight hundred and fifty four and Executed on 
the Marriage of Pierse SHANNON with Eliza SHANNON of the 
first part then said Eliza A SHANNON of Graham Terrace 
Saville place in the city of DUBLIN of the second part and 
John KEANE of Corbally in the City of LIMERICK Publican of 
the third part Reciting that the said Trustees for the 
considerations therein Granted to the said John KEANE his 
heirs and assigns All That and Those the house and land at 
Corbally as lately occupied by the said Eliza A SHANNON 
situate at Corbally Parish of St. Patrick and City of 
LIMERICK containing one rood and twenty four three quarter 
perches of statute measure be the same more or less, To Hold 
the said demised Premises with their appurtenances unto the 
said John KEANE his heirs and assigns from the twenty ninth 
day of September One thousand eight hundred and fifty seven 
during the life of the said Eliza A SHANNON provided the 
Interest of the said parties of the first part shall so long 
continue Paying unto the said Trustees their heirs or 
Assigns the yearly payment of rent, performance of the 
Covenants and Quiet enjoyment and Also further covenanted 
that a sum of Twenty-five pounds sterling be lodged with the 
said Trustees their heirs or assigns but if  the said John 
KEANE his heirs or assigns should be ejected or Surrender 
said premises under the clause of Surrender therein 
contained and if any part of the said Twenty pounds sterling 
should remain unpaid at the time of such ejectment or 
surrender it should be forfeited to the said Trustees their 
heirs or assigns and further reciting that the said John 
KEANE should seek no compensation from the Railway company 
or set or sell any portion of the Lands for Railway purposes 
under penalty of forfeiture of the said in part recited 
Lease. Which Lease also contains a covenant for surrender 
thereof on Six months notice as therein set forth. The 
execution of which said deed and counterpart and this 
memorial thereof as to their execution by the said Eliza A 
SHANNON are Witnessed by Thos LYNCH of Middle Gardens Street 
in the City of DUBLIN Solr and Patrick PEAKIN of teh same 
place his Servant and Said deed and counterpart and this 
memorial as to their execution by the said William Lane 
JOYNT are Witnessed by M.J. deCOURCY of Shannon Ville in the 
City of LIMERICK Esq. and Michael CARROLL of the said City 
LIMERICK and which said deed and counterpart and this 
memorial as to their execution by the said Carroll O GRADY 
is witnessed by Daniel McNAMARA of Killadysert in the county 
of CLARE forever and Edmond MURPHY of Ballycarick in said 
county of CLARE Forever.

The within named Matthew John DeCOURCY of Shannonville in 
the city of LIMERICK Esquire aged sixteen years and upwards 
Maketh Oath and Saith he is a subscribing witness to the 
Deed and Counterpart of which the within writing is a 
Memorial as also to said Memorial Saith he saw said Deed and 
Counterpart and Memorial respectively duly executed by 
William Lane JOYNT and John KEANE in presence of this 
deponent and of Michael CARROLL the other subscribing 
witness thereto.

Sworn before me at Shannon Ville in the County of LIMERICK 
this 37th day of Jany 1860-Conscription of his Majesty's 
Superior Courts of ????? Law in .......[signed] M.J.
