ST. JOHN'S CATHEDRAL CEMETERY
[From Mr. J. Grene-Barry.] 

'On a brass under a lancet-window in the south transept of 
St. John's Cathedral, Limerick. This was the first window 
filled with stained glass after the erection of this church 
':- 

Pray for the soul of 
JAMES BARRY, 
A Magistrate for this County, 
Who died 2nd September 1856 
In whose love and memory this 
Window has been erected 
by many grateful friends. 
R. I. P. 

'The inscription on this Mr. Barry's tomb in Rockstown 
Churchyard was published in vol. iii, p. 315, of the 
Journal.'
