In the burial-ground south of the nave Pray for the soul of
O'Donnell, Hugh, who departed this life Nov ye 28th 1754.
Aged 63 yrs. This is locally known as the Earl's Tombstone

In the graveyard south of the chancel:

O Lord have mercy on the soul of Bartholomew O'Connor
of Mullaughduff Who departed this life April 26th 1816
Aged 64 years And also on the Soul of his Son Daniel
O'Connor who departed this life March 19th 1816 Aged
37 years

Pray for the soul of John Dolan who departed this life on
the 4th of March 1817 Aged 71 years

O Lord have mercy on the soul of Simeon McHugh of
Tullycolagh Who departed this life Feb 2nd 1841 Aged 76
years

[sic] of Mulloughduff Who departed this life February the
18th 1844 Aged 32 years.

Mulloughduff who departed this life May the 4th 1844.
Aged 16 years  This Stone has been erected by there [sic]
affectionate father Bartholomew O'Connor of Mullaughduff
This stone has been erected by Peter Nelson of Killien

In the nave of the Abbey Church: Pray for the soul of
James Gulrick who departed the life March the 18th 1790
In the 78th year of his age. Erected by his son James
Gulrick.

Pray for the soul of Catherine Killcolein who departed this
life December the 20 1783 Aged 25 years.

Lord have mercy of the soul of Mary Clarke alias Carter
who departed this life the 3rd Dec 1787. Aged 42 years.
And Hugh Clarke her husband who departed the 10th Aug
1816 Aged 82 years. Also their son Patrick Clarke at
whose instance this stone was erected who departed this

departed this life Nov 27th 1818 Aged 53 years

In the chancel of the Abbey Church Here Leys the Body of
Iames Cornyn who Dyed the 24th of Dec 1729 Aged 63
years

March y 17th 1781. Aged 73 years. Erected by his son
Hugh.

In the Cloisters:

Pray for the soul of John Roarke who departed this life
March the 16th 1799 Aged 48 years This slab having been
broken, another was supplied and placed beside it. It bears
The same inscription, except that the same тАЬRoarkeтАЭ
appears as O'Rorke.тАЭ

Hi jacet Rev Admodum Carolus Brady ad annos 30 hujus
Ecclesiae Parochialis Pastor Zelo anim- [chip] in verbo &
exemplo erudicius & docens, gregem sibi Commifsum in
Christo lucrifaceret, Coelesti viti Perpetuo fruiturus,
Obdormivit In Domino 4th Septembris ann Salutis 1818.
Aetatis suae 61 R.I.P Amen*
Translation
Here lieth the Very Reverend Charles Brady, for thirty
years the Pastor of this Parish Church. In zeal for souls, in
preaching, and in example, he was learned and Instructive.
He gained in Christ the flock committed to him. About to
enjoy eternal Life in Heaven, he fell asleep in the Lord on
the 4th of September in the year of Salvation 1813 And of
his age, 61. May he rest in peace. Amen

Sacred to the memory of the Rev. Peter Berrnard
Magauran, O.S.F., and P.P of Killanumera and Killery,
who departed this life the 17th December AD 1827
Resquiescat in Pace The people take small bags of clay
from this grave to heal the sick; the clay is  placed under the
patient's head for nine nights, with appropriate prayers, and
then brought back and replaced in the grave.

On a broken mural tablet, 37 inches long by 18 inches high
This monument was erected in memory of Chas McTernan
&c, by his Father Hugh McTernan of Mt Allen Esq. July
25th 1829

An inscription running across two slabs;
Pray for the soul of Hugh McTernan, Esq, of Mount Allen,
who departed This life 9th June 1832, Aged 72 years. And
also on the souls of his daughter Elenora And Five sons,
namely Hugh, Bryan, Charles, John, and Francis McTernan
Esq. All of whom departed this life in the prime of youth.

In the east range of conventual buildings;

Lord have mercy on the soul of Dominick Fallon of Tulley
Cooley who departed This life on the 24th day of July 1818
in the 58 year of his age. This stone has been erected by his
sons Francis & Thady Fallon.

Lord have mercy on the soul of Thos Laghy, who departed
this life 16th April 1832. Aged 36 years. Erected by his
father Ptk Laghy.

Lord have mercy on the soul of John McCawley who
departed this life the 5th of Feb 1861 In the 56th year of his
age.
