Thomas Cregan, born c1842 in Ballinakill. Emigrated to 
Manchester before 1861. His father was Martin, possibly the 
one in the Griffiths Valuation in Derrycloney, Ardea. The 
photograph was taken in Broadbottom, Derbyshire outside the 
house where his son was living (it still stands). I'm 
guessing at a date of about 1915.

Additional Comments: I'm very proud of my great-grandfather. 
Considering he survived a famine and then worked in a cotton 
mill for 50 years, I think he looks pretty good.
