Extracted from the Registry of his Majesty's Court of
Prerogative in Ireland I John Kearny of Shankill in the
County of Kilkenny Esqr considering the uncertainty
of this life do make and publish this my will in manner
following (that is to say) first I order that I may be
decently but privately Interred also I order that
my just Debts may all be paid and satisfied And I give
to my Grand Nephew Richd Aylward my Interest in
the House and Demesne of Shankill containing 1
Acres or thereabouts I give to Mrs Anne Aylward my
Chaise and 1 pair of Horses I also give her One Milch
Cow and six good Sheep I give to my Brother James's
Son John the Bond due to me by Richd Mercer Esqr
and as to all the residue and remainder of my
property I give and devise the same unto John
Kearney the Son of my Brother James Kearney And I
nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother
James and my Brother Michael Kearny my Executors
In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and
Testament put my hand and seal this 2nd day of April
1796 ninety six John Kearny
