NEWSPAPER: LOYAL ROMAN CATHOLIC GENTLEMEN, CLERGY AND FREEHOLDERS, 25th Jan. 1800

We, the loyal Roman Catholic Gentlemen, Clergy and
Freeholders of the County of Kilkenny, ever grateful
for the privileges derived to us under his Majesty's
Government, and always feeling the sincere interests
in the welfare and prosperity of Ireland, consider
ourselves called upon by every principle of loyalty and
attachment to our most gracious Sovereign, the
Father of his people, to declare our most heart felt
approbation of the intended measure of a Legislative
union between this Kingdom and Great Britain.
