in memory of his son Thomas Cunningham who
departed this life May 17th 1845 aged 21 yrs. Also
two of his children who died young. (sunburst & 2

No.2 Erected by MICHAEL KEEFFE of Rathculbin in
memory of his wife. MARGT KEEFFE,alias HEALY, who
died ls tember 1837 aged 55 yrs. and also his son
ANDREW KEEFFE who died 15th June 1853 aged 32
yrs. Also one of his children who died young. KIERAN

loving memory of her husband Patrick Walton died
9th December 1920 aged 64 yrs. Also his father John
Walton died 21st November 1887 aged 65 yrs and his
mother Nora nee Murray, died 28th September 1900
aged 72 yrs. Also his sister-in-law Alice Walton died
2nd March 1928 aged 69 yrs. (celtic cross 8ft) Side of
stone: Mary Anne Walton died 15th January 1930

Bridget Cuddihy Newtown. R.I.P.Erected by their
loving family. John Cuddihy died 27th March 1984
aged 81. Joseph Cuddihy died 15th March 1987 aged
76. Bridget Cuddihy died 9th December 1989 aged 84
yrs.

memory of her husband James Cudihy, Newtown,
who dep'd this life December the 19th 1832 agd 57

Gardens in memory of her beloved husband Mr.
James Delaney who died August 4th 1861 aged 64
yrs. (cross in shield and 2 urns)

No.14 God be merciful to the soul of Mary Delaney
whos body lies here interred. She departed this life
the 12th day 1812 in the 21st year of her age. Erected
in memory of her father John Delaney of Goodwins
Gardens. To Patrick Delaney & Elizabeth Kelly his wife,
who are both interred at the East corner of this
church. “O Dear Christians as you Pass by, Look
toward Heaven, And Pray for me, For I was once as
you are, And as I have been doomed to die, So
prepare in time from Sin to the Amen.” (ground

No.15 Here lies the body of Anne Delany, daughter of
Daniel Delaney. She was born 18th May 1762, died
16th February 1766. Here also lies the body of Daniel
Delaney who departed November 18th aged 67 yrs.

No.16 In loving memory of Patrick Delaney, Newtown
Kells, died 25th June 1916. His wife Bridget died 29th
June 1929. Their sons William died in Baltimore USA
11th September 1959, Edward died the 30th October
1967 and their daughter Bridget died 8th August
1963. Michael died 9th of September 1977. Mary
Delaney died 23rd August 1983 aged 84. (sunburst &
2 urns)

No.17 In memory of Mrs. Patrick Holden died March
13th 1857 aged 35 yrs. Erected by her son Thomas
Holden of White Plains, New York, USA January 1897.

father Cornelius Hickey who died October 20th 1803
aged 66 yrs. Also his grandfather and grandmother.

of his dear mother Margaret Hennessy nee Walsh
who departed this life July 2nd 1902 aged 78 yrs.
Fortified by the rites of the Holy Catholic Church of
which she has been through life as edifying member,

40 yrs. Here rests also the remains of the above
named Mr. Michael McGrath who dep'd the 7th April
