SEVERAL LANDS, HOUSES & PREMISES
WITHIN-MENTIONED situate in the City of Cork and also
of the Impropriate Tithes of Premises situate in the
County of KILDARE [known as Lot 7 of this sale]

To be sold by the COMMISSIONERS, AT THEIR COURT, 14
HENRIETTA-STREET, DUBLIN ON Thursday, the 15th day
of June, 1854 at the hour of 12 o'Clock NOON

The Impropriate Tithes, great and small, arising out of the
lands of Rickardstown and Scarletstown, otherwise
Scaretstown, in the Barony of CONNELL and County of
Kildare, held in fee.

The Tithes, great and   Thomas MANGAN, Esq. £6 18s. 6d.
small issuing out of
Rickardstown and
Scarletstown

NATURE OF TENANCY: Lease dated 2nd July, 1823, from
Mitchelburne KNOX to Thomas MANGAN, George
MANGAN and *Pensonby MOORE for 31 years. Two of
the lives, viz., Thomas MANGAN and George MANGAN
are living.

OBSERVATIONS: This lease contains covenants of distress
and re-entry in case of non-payment of these tithes.

The above-mentioned Tithes were conveyed by Thomas
KNOX, Mitchellburne KNOX and Ellen KNOX, his wife, by
Indenture, dated 10th August, 1833 to William FLEMYNG
PORTER, who afterwards conveyed them to Joseph King
CIMMINS.  In the deed of 10th August, 1833, there is
contained a covenant on the part of the Grantors, that
said Ellen KNOX should levy a fine or suffer a recovery if
required to do so by the said William F. PORTER, his heirs
or assigns.  Such fine or recovery does not however
appear to have been levied or suffered pursuant to said
covenant.  The said Mitchellburne KNOX and his wife are
believed to be still living.
