DUN URLANN GRAVEYARD, BALLYFERRITER, COUNTY KERRY, IRELAND

This cemetery is located about a kilometre from
Ballyferriter village, if you take a turn for the Ceann
Sibeal golf club, signposted from the main Ballyferriter to
Dunquin road About 100 metres down this road you
come across a sign post for Reilig Dun Urlann ( reilig is
the Irish word for cemetery). Through the first entrance
gate you come across the more recent section of the
cemetery
and through a 2nd gate you come to the older cemetery
which has a very old church ruin with a lot of headstones
placed against the interior walls. The scenery from the
cemetery is spectacular with sea and mountain views.
