NEWSPAPER: NATIONAL REPEAL ASSOCIATION 1841

Ballybunion, Dec. 26th 1840.

Dear Sir,

I feel very great pleasure in transmitting to you the
enclosed bank order for the sum of 12/., the
subscriptions of the repealers of Ballybunnion, Co. Kerry,
including 1/. From Mr. James Harty, and honest farmer
and disinterested patriot, and one from myself.

Will you have the kindness of proposing the following

Note: The Repeal Association was an Irish mass membership
political movement set up by Daniel O'Connell in 1830 to
campaign for a repeal of the Acts of Union of 1800 between
Great Britain and Ireland.
