On the 5th inst, in Edinburgh, John Money CARTER, Esq, of 
the 1st Royal Regiment, only son of Colonel Carter, 
commanding the same corps, to the Hon Jane Ferguson MURRAY, 
sister of the present Lord ELIBANK.

On the 6th inst, at Dean Bridge, Piercy BENN, Esq, of the 
Royal Artillery, to Rose Fiott, daughter of the late Thomas 
De SAUMAREZ, Esq, of the Island of Guernsey.

DEATHS.

On Saturday, the 9th inst, at Fairbrook, Rathfarnham, after 
a long and protracted illness, which she bore with truly 
Christian fortitude, Mrs Emma MURPHY, universally and 
deservedly regretted by her afflicted family and friends.

At Cahirciveen, Co. Kerry, Captain BRADY, chief constable of 
the police.

On the 6th inst, at Desert Serges Glebe, Co. Cork, Edward 
McCARTHY, Esq.

On the 3rd inst, Elizabeth BLAKENEY, relict of James HOGG, 
Esq, of Gilstown, Co. Roscommon.

On the 6th inst, the Rev. John ELLISON, Rector of Killymard.

On the 10th of August last, at Harrowtie, Ajmere, in the 
East Indies, Roger FOLEY, Esq. M.D., of the 16th Regiment, 
son of the late Cornelius FOLEY, Esq, of Ballyclough, near 
Mallow, Co. Cork.
