BIRTHS.

Dec. 13th at No. 22 Marlborough-Street, the lady of General 
SAUNDERS, of a son.

Dec. 10th at Fintroy House, Aberdeenshire, the Hon. Lady 
FORBES, of Craigievar, of a daughter.

At Glenwilliam, the lady of George MASSEY, esq., of a 
daughter.

On Tuesday, at his house on the Mall, the lady of Edward 
HOBSON, esq., of a son.

On the 18th inst, at Great-Denmark Street, the lady of Hugh 
O'CONNOR, Jnr., Esq., of a son.

MARRIAGES.

At Blessington, Co. Wicklow, by the Rev. Walter BURGH, Mr. 
Francis CAMPION, of Blessington, son of Mr. J. Campion, of 
Maryborough, Queen's County, to Miss YATES, daughter of Mr. 
Thomas YATES, near Warrington, Lancashire.

On the 14th inst at St. George's Church, Hanover-Square, 
London, J. STRANGMAN, Jnr., Esq., of Waterford, to Eliza, 
daughter of the late Captain Edward PERKINS, R.N., of Upper 
Berkeley Street, and niece of the late Admiral PRINGLE.

On the 9th inst, at St. Pancra's Church, London, Captain 
PENNEFATHER, 22nd Regiment, to Margaret, relict of the late 
William BARTLEY, Esq., Paymaster 22nd Regiment.

On Monday, Mr. James LOWRY, of Belfast, to Miss E. SELKIRK, 
of Whitehaven.

At Ballyaughran Church, on the 15th December, by the Rev. 
Mr. HUDSON, Mr. Patrick Doherty, Postmaster of Portstewart, 
to Miss Anne Jane CUMMINS, of Colerain.

In Lifford Church on Friday , the 3rd inst, by the Rev. 
William KNOX, the Rev. Thomas Rolleston, Curate of Lifford, 
to Eliza, widow of Captain I. HUMPREYS.

On the 9th inst, at Buncrana, by the Rev. David HAMILTON, 
the Rev. Robert ANDERSON, of Rathmullen, to Miss Eliza 
London, formerly of Maghera.

J. B. TREVANION, Esq., of Caerhays, Cornwall, to Susannah, 
daughter of Sir Thomas BURDETT, M.P.

DEATHS.

Thomas, third son of George NESS, esq.

Dec. 12th in Mallow, in the bloom of youth, of consumption, 
Susan, daughter of R. BARRETT.

At Newmarket, Mrs Honora GILLMAN.

In the prime of life, Mr. SIMPSON, of Framing Woods, near 
Benefield. His death was occasioned by the accidental 
discharge of a small pistol which he had in his breeches 
pocket on the Sunday previous, in going to Brigstock for the 
purpose of quelling some riotous proceedings.

On the 20th ult, at Woolstanwood, in the Parish of Natwich, 
in her 94th year, Martha DODD, She had been a widow for 41 
years, and was the mother of 19 children, Grandmother of 46, 
Great Grandmother of 91, and GrGrGrandmother of 2, making a 
total of 158. At the age of 80 she engaged herself as 
dairy-maid, and was for several years on service at Radnor 
Green, near Congleton, where she had the management and care 
of 26 cows, and that being her last place she gained a 
settlement there. What is almost as extraordinary, her 
surviving sister, now in her 92nd year, walked from Sproston 
Green, near Middlewich, a distance of more than 10 miles, to 
attend her funeral at Wistaston.

On the 3rd inst., after a lingering illness, Ellen, wife of 
Thomas RUDDOCK, of Ballinahinch.

Dec. 10th in her 56th year, Martha, relict of the late Lewis 
REFORD, of Moylena, Esq.

Dec. 8th at his house in Donegal-Square, Gilbert M'ILVEEN, 
Esq., aged 68.

Very suddenly, Mr. Samuel HOOD, long a most respected 
Merchant of Derry.

At Ballyhossett, on the 11th Dec. Mary, youngest daughter of 
late Alexander GRACEY, esq.

At Gracehill, on the 20th November, Mr. John Brown WALLACE, 
aged 54 years.

Suddenly at Ballymoney, Doctor WALKER.

Dec. 9th at her house in Canal-Street, Newry, Mrs Charlotte 
CARNEY, in her 45th year.

Dec. 6th at his house in Southampton, Rear Admiral STILES, 
in the 79th year of his age.
