FREEMANS JOURNAL 18 DEC 1883. EVICTED TENANTS FUND, MANSION 
HOUSE
  
A meeting of the above committee was held in the Mansion 
House on Saturday. Chairman Alfred T C Webb.

Applications were considered and the following Grants made.

Philip Heery, 9 in family, evicted 18th Oct. 1882. 
Landlord--Major John Leslie, Kiltybegs, Carrickmacross.

Messrs Ryan and Hammersley, evicted at Pallasgreen, County 
Limerick by Major Leslie.

David O'Brien, Clashmagarrane, 4 in family, evicted 4th May 
1881 by Lord Kenmare.

Four tenants evicted by Mrs Moroney at Miltown-Malbay, Co. 
Clare and not yet reinstated.

An evicted tenant by the name of John Moroney, in the same 
district.

John Reardon, Gurranes, Mallow, 9 in family, evicted 3rd 
June 1880.

Richard Fitzgerald, Kilteely, Co. Limerick, twice evicted by 
the Earl of Sandwich.

Laurence English, Killaree, Charleville, 4 in family, 
evicted 1st inst, Landlord--E.E. Evans, Kingston, Jamica.

Denis Gleeson, Coachford, Co. Cork. 8 in family, evicted 4th 
April 1881, by Miss Eora Harding, Myrtle House, Cork.

Samuel Garty, Bratonstown, Killucan, County Westmeath, 11 in 
family, Landlord--W.E. Lefroy.

Jeremiah Dempsey, Ballyvoneen, Thurles, 2 in family, evicted 
19th Sept. 1882.

Peter Thornton, Kilmaine, County Mayo, 2 in family.

John Coughlan, Dunumanus East, County Cork, 5 in family, 
Landlord-Ml. Hegarty, Dumanus.

Grant to a labourer named Kennedy, evicted near Abbeyfeale, 
by a farmer named Riordan, for the purpose of procuring 
shelter for himself and his family.
