DEATHS.

Sudden Death-On last Saturday as the Widow Brien, of
Rathcarden, was on her way home from Mass, she became so
severely sick on a sudden that she had to turn to a green
bank on the road side, near Mr. Cooke's of Lis. Priest and
Doctor were send for, but before either could reach, she was
a corpse. On Monday an inquest was held in view of her
remains before M. Meagher, esq., Coroner for North
Tipperary, when a verdict was returned of "Died by
visitation of God". Deceased was 55 years of age.

A correspondent informs us that one of the largest funerals
to Glankeen for years, was that on Monday, of Mr. Michael
Kennedy, the late popular and courteous post-master of
Thurles.
