ASSORTED BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES JANUARY 13, 1781

MARRIAGES.

Pierce Barron, of Durrow, Co. Waterford, to Miss Catharine 
Smith, daughter of Mr. Martin Smith, of Waterford.

In Waterford, Mr. Richard Gibney, Publican, to Miss Ann 
Blakeney.

At Dundavin, Co. Longford, Mr. Pat Kiernan, of Carrigalline, 
Co. Leitrim to Miss O'Reilly.

At Mr. Holmes's, in Drumcondra, Mr Forbes White, of Mary 
Street, Merchant, to Miss Jellet, daughter of Morgan Jellet, 
of Moira, Co. Down.

Mr. John Cooney, Merchant, of Luke Street, to Miss Elizabeth 
Moran, of Back Lane.

Mr. John Bray, of Phrapper Lane, to Miss Howard of Smock 
Alley.

DEATHS.

Last week died near Ballynahinch, in the County of Down, Mr. 
William Fergie, when he was put in the coffin, he was 
weighed. The gross weight was about 600 cwt. So an allowance 
being made for the coffin, he could not be less than 40 
stone.

At Meldrum, near Cashel, Oliver Latham.

At Clonmel, Miss Jane Stoakes, daughter of Mr. John Stoakes, 
Master of the Charter School, near said town.

In Waterford, the Rev. Patrick Bray, a Clergyman of the 
Church of Rome.

A few days ago, at Dumcree, the Rev. Hugh Twigg.

In Waterford, the lady of Edward Murphy, of Little Island.

In Arklow, the lady of the Rev. Edward Bayly, Rector of 
Arklow.

At Leixlip, Mrs Jane Bruce, Post Mistress of that town, 
great granddaughter of the Rev. G. Walker, formerly Governor 
of Londonderry, and who bravely defended it during the siege 
of 1688.
