In the Name of God Amen I Catherine O'Flaherty of the Town 
of Galway spinster being in health of Body and of Perfect 
sound and disposing memory and understanding but uncertain 
as to the time my Creator may summon me to appear before him 
do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament 
annulling and revoking all other Wills heretofore made by me 
I recommend my Soul into the hands of my Redeemer my Body to 
be intered in a private and Christian like manner I order 
all my Just debts to be Paid and discharged I Will and 
bequeath unto my Brother John O'Flaherty the Sum of fifty 
Pounds to buy him Mourning I Will and bequeath unto my 
Brother Anthony O'Flaherty the Sum of fifty Pounds Ster 
Yearly during his natural Life I Will and bequeath unto my 
sister Mary O'Flaherty a Bond Past to me by Walter Butcher 
of Gregg in the County of Galway Esqr for the Sum of five 
hundred Pounds Str Principal money with the Interest dated 
the third of September One thousand seven hundred and Ninety 
And  in addition to the above mentioned Bond I Will and 
bequeath unto my sister Mary O'Flaherty the Sum of fifty 
Pounds Ster yearly during her natural Life I will and 
bequeath unto my very particular friend Mrs Ann Butcher of 
Gregg the Sum of fifty Pounds Ster to buy her a Mourning 
Ring I will and bequeath unto my very particular friend the 
Reverend Bartholomew Burke of the town of Galway the sum of 
three hundred Pounds Ster I will and bequeath unto my friend 
Bridgett Fitzgeralds of the Town of Gallway the Sum of forty 
Pounds Ster yearly during her natural Life and likewise the 
power of disposing of fifty Pounds Str out of my effects at 
her death I give and bequeath unto Mrs Mary Geoghehan of the 
town of Galway Widow the Sum of Eighteen Pounds Str yearly 
during her Natural Life I will and bequeath unto Morer 
JoyesDaughter of my friend Oliver Joyes  the Sum of One 
hundred Pounds Ster I will and bequeath unto my friend Mr 
Pearce Lynch of Dungan the Sum of One hundred Pounds Ster I 
will and bequeath unto the Reverend James French the Sum of 
twenty Pounds Ster I will and bequeath unto the Reverend 
Bartholomew Barth otherwise Burke the Sum of fifty Pounds 
Ster I will and bequeath unto each of my two Executors the 
Sum of Ten Pounds Ster to buy a Mourning Ring I will and 
bequeath unto my Servant maid at the time of my Death the 
sum of thirty pounds sterling and I Order that the above 
mentioned Legacys be Paid within a year after my death the 
rest and reisdue of all my Worldly Substance both in Goods 
and Chattles I Will and bequeath unto my Brother John 
O'Flaherty for the use of his Children Lastly I hereby 
constitute and appoint Henry Blake Esqr M.D. of the Town of 
Galway and Mark Lynch Esqr Lombard Street of the Town of 
Galway Executors and Administrators to this my Last Will and 
Testament and that it may have its proper force and effect I 
put my hand and seal to it this fifteenth Day of January One 
thousand seven hundred and Ninety Nine Catherine Flaherty _

O'Flaherty the Brother the Executors having renounced
6 June 1803 Administration with Will annexed to Patrick 
O'Flaherty the Nephew Administrator of the Goods of John
