In the Name of God Amen I John Kenney born in the Parish of 
Tumel in the County of Galway in the Kingdom of Ireland 
Seaman belonging to his Majesty's Ship Cornwallis being of 
sound and disposing mind and Memory do make and declare this 
my last Will and Testament in manner following principally 
and first of all I resign my Soul to God in humble hope of 
its future happiness and my Body to Christian burial in 
Earth or water so as the Almighty shall please to order in 
hopes of a Joyfull Resurrection and as to such worldly 
Estate and Effects I shall be possessed of or intitled to at 
the time of my decease I give and bequeath as follows that 
is to say I bequeath unto my Brother Richard Bryan all such 
Wages and Prize money as now is or hereafter shall be due to 
my for the said Ship Secondly I give and bequeath unto 
William Goodwin all my Cloaths likewise my Bed and Bedding 
and every thing of any value I may now have in my possession 
at the Navy Hospital and I do hereby revoke & make void all 
former Wills made by me heretofore made and confirming this 
to be my last Will and Testament signed by me in his 
Majesty's Naval Hospital Madras this 9th day of August one 
thousand eight hundred and six John Kenney Witness Jno Kelly

N B the within mentioned Richard Bryan is residing in the 
Town of Ball in the County of Mayo in the Kingdom of Ireland
8th April 1809 Administration with Will annexed to Richard 
Bryan natural and lawful Brother of the deceased by the half 
blood and next of kin
