Extracted from her Majesty's Court of Prerogative in Ireland 
In the Name of God Amen I Hyacinth Richard Daly of Domk. 
Street in the Town of Galway Esqr being of sound mind memory 
& understanding but considering the uncertainties of this 
life do make this my last Will and Testamt in writing hereby 
revoking & annulling all Will or Wills heretofore by me made 
I order & direct that all my just and lawful debts & funeral 
expences shall be first paid as soon as conveniently after 
my decease by my executrix hereinafter named Whereas I have 
a power of charging my estates under the Will of my father 
Michl Daly Esqr decd. With a sum of two thousand pounds st 
for my younger children now I hereby bequeath such power of 
distribution & appointmt as I have under said Will to my 
wife Honora Daly orwise Keogh to be exercised by her & that 
she shall distribute same amongst our children Richd Gore 
Daly Anthy Daly Hyacinth Michl Daly & Arthur Josh Daly in 
such shares & Proportions as she thinks fit or accordingly 
as they may resply merit or deserve from her either by deed 
or by her last Will and Testament in writing duly executed 
by her in presence of two or more subscribing Witnesses as 
my said children are now so young that I do not wish to 
exercise such power but in case that such disposition of 
said power of  appointment by me to my said wife Honora Daly 
otherwise Keogh shall be either illegal or invalid in law 
then and not otherwise I will devise & bequeath the said sum 
of two thousand pounds charged upon my said estates by my 
said father Michl Daly's Will for my younger children that 
is to say Richd Gore Daly Anthy Daly Hyacinth Michl Daly & 
Arthur Josh Daly the said sum of two thousand pounds st 
legal currency share & share alike I also bequeath unto my 
said wife Honora Daly orwise Keogh all my right title 
interest property claim and demands or expectancy & to her 
child's portion or fortune which is charged upon the lands 
of Skevally in the Coy of Roscommon & secured by judgments 
obtained on the Bonds of Anthy Keogh the father of the 
Honora Daly & I also give devise & bequeath unto my said 
Wife all my plate books household furniture & all other 
personal property that I may die seized or possessed of with 
liberty to her to dispose thereof to her own sole and 
separate use without the let suit or hindrance of any or 
either of them the said Richd Gore Daly Anthy Daly Hyacinth 
Michl Daly Arthur Josh Daly my said children And I hereby 
satisfy & confirm the deed of annuity executed by me & my 
eldest son Denis Daly to said Honora Daly my wife And I also 
give devise & bequeath unto my said wife all my right title 
claim & expectancy in & to my undivided share or proportion 
of the estate assets & effects of Helen Bodkin of Abbey Gate 
St in the Town of Galway Spinster decd which I have in right 
of my said wife Honora Daly orwise Keogh & which is not as 
yet ascertained or distributed And I hereby nominate 
constitute & appoint my said wife Honora Daly otherwise 
Keogh my sole Executrix & Residuary legatee of this my last 
Will & Testmt dated this 18th day of February one thousand 
eight hundred & twenty eight H Rd Daley
