KEVILLE, JOHN JUNE 26, 1896

Boston Daily Globe, Boston, MA, June 26, 1896
Amesbury, Massachusetts, June 26 -

John Keville died at the home of his daughter this morning,
School st., after a long illness.

He was one of the oldest Irish residents, coming here from
Ireland 50 years ago. He was born in County Galway in 1815.
For 40 years he was in the employ of Hamilton woolen
corporation. For many years he was in charge of the water
power of the mills. He also served the corporation as
messenger.

He was a general favorite with the officers of the
corporation, and was everywhere known as an obliging and
thoroughly reliable workman. He leaves a daughter, and one
brother, Thomas Keville.
