This Lot is situated within One Mile of Headford, Three Miles from Shruel, Three Miles from Lough
Corrib, Sixteen Miles from Galway. Moyne-Hill Demesne lies contiguous on the North side; and the
beautiful Demesne and much improved Village of Headford, close upon the South side. The Upland
produces excellent crops, and the Bottoms are well suited for Grazing or Meadow Land. The recent
drainage in the neighbourhood has dried up about Sixty Acres of Bottoms and Cut-way Bog, which with
a small outlay may be converted into profitable Land. The Lake containing about 12 Acres abounds
with fish. And there is an abundant supply of Turbary. The Ordinance Survey states the contents to
be 168 A. 1 R. 19 P.
