'On this 23rd of May, 1736 slept in the Lord at Dublin. the 
very illustrious Master William MOOR, a military officer who 
distinguished himself in fighting for King James 2nd.  He 
was buried with us the 26th of this Month in the sepulchre 
of his predecessors.'

'This 23rd May, 1744 died fortified by the sacraments of the 
church, Florence CALLANAN spiritual father of this convent, 
and a cavalry officer of King James II.  May he rest in 
peace.'

'This 7th May 1723 died in the Lord, William HORAN alias 
McDAVID.  May he rest in peace.  He made a bequest to this 
convent.'

'1784.  This day departed this life, dame Anna BLAKE, alias 
BROWN, wife of Master Patrick BLAKE of Moorfield.  She was 
buried in the sepulchre of her family. May she rest in 
peace.'

'This 6th day (of May) 1763 died piously in the Lord, the 
noble Master Patrick BURKE of Balinruane and on the 10 he 
was buried in our church.  A man pious and devoted, full of 
faith & good works, in the 92nd year of his age.  May he 
rest in holy peace. Amen.'

'This 7th day (of May 1736) went to the Bridegroom, the well 
born and noble lady Janetta HAMILTON daughter of Master 
Robert HAMILTON of Fairfield.  She made a bequest	to this 
convent.  May she rest in peace.'

'.......... dame DALY a great benefactress of this convent 
who supplied us with priestly equipment 1738 and 
..............'

'This 25th May 1728 departed this life, fortified by the 
sacraments of the church, Master Brassel MADDEN parish 
priest of Clonfert, a good preacher, a friend of our order 
and a benefactor of our convent, to which he left his books. 
 He was buried in out chapel on the 26th.  May he rest in 
peace.'

'Ambrose de BURGO son of Patrick de BURGO of Ballinruane, 
duly fortified by the sacraments of the church died piously 
in the Lord A.D. 1743 and was buried in our church, near the 
entrance of the chapel.  May he rest in peace.'

'28. This day (28th of May) Master Robert BARNOWEL died at 
Agheren.  He was buried in the convent of Saint Francis at 
Kilconnel;  and made a bequest to this convent of Milick 
1664.  May he rest in peace.'

'29th (of May) Nicholas CALLANAN a young man of good 
disposition received the chord of our fraternity 1645.'

'June 4th on which day was celebrated the solemnity of the 
Corpus Christi, the graveyard (?) of the church of the 
brothers minors of Meelick was reconciled by the Venerable 
Father & Brother John MADDEN then president of the aforesaid 
convent A.D. 1746, the second year of the insurrection of 
the Irish against the English in Ireland.'

'This 4th of June 1729 departed this life dame Penelope 
HORAN, a daughter of Master Cornelius HORAN and Catherine 
HANNIN, a great benefactress of this convent of Meelick.  
She Married first James DILLON, and being released from the 
law of her husband, after some years married Master Andrew 
HEARN.  She was buried in our church first fortified by the 
sacraments of the church.  She made a bequest to this 
convent.  May she rest in holy peace.'

'This 6th of June 1722 fell asleep in the Lord fortified by 
the sacraments of the church the noble and devoted Lady 
Christiana MADDEN, daughter of Master Fergus MADDEN and 
Catherine DONELLAN.  She was the wife to Master John 	
Ffrench a great benefactress of this convent and made a 
bequest to this community for whose soul from the world 
(oretur?) may she rest in holy peace.'

'8th June 1640 Brother Malachy COGHLAN received the chord of 
fraternity.'

'Granis DULAGHANTY received the chord of the confraternity 
of St. Francis 1667."

'This 11th June (1667) died Master Nicholas SKIRET a 
benefactor of this convent.  May he rest in peace.'

'This 13th (of June) Master Roger COMAN priest received the 
habit of the third order and discharged his profession on 
the 14th of June in the following year 1650 at the hands of 
Rev. Father John MADDEN Guardian.'

'This 14th of June the beloved lay brother Michael SLAMAN 
very devoted and indefatigable about matters of religion.  
He fell asleep about 2 o'clock in the afternoon 1689 in the 
82nd year of his age and 51st of his religion. May he rest 
in peace.'

'This 17th of June 1738 died Master John FRENCH of Rasane a 
great benefactor of this place.  May he rest in peace.'

'This 23 day of June went to Bridegroom the high born and 
noble lady Mara BLAKE of Moorfield fortified by the 
sacraments of the church and worn out by a tedious disease.  
She was buried in out sacristy.  She made a bequest to this 
convent 1786.  May she rest in peace.'

'24 June. were admitted to the habit of our order, Brother 
Nicholas O'SHIEL with his companions of the feast of St. 
John the Baptist.  His companions were Brother Edmond 
BUTLER, Brother Hugh O'MADDEN, Brother John COGHLAN, Brother 
Hugh COGHLAN and Lay-brother Tomas DARCY; which last being 
unknown to the brothers before the year of his probation, 
put off his habit in the middle of the night and took many 
belonging (sacred) to the feast. 

Being afterwards apprehended and condemned in the court, he 
was set free by the benefit of the clergy and betook himself 
to parts beyond the seas as heretics .....'

'Died the noble Master Rodger O'HORAN a captain of his sept, 
old and full of days 1632.'

'This day went to the Bridegroom Catherine DILLON, daughter 
of Master James DILLON and Penelope HORAN, a virgin very 
devoted, given to fasts prayers and virgils, fortified by 
the sacraments of the church, carried off by a malignant 
fever.  She was buried in our church the 20th of June 1729 
about one o'clock.  She made a bequest to this convent, May 
she rest in peace.'
