Know all Men by these presents that I Andrew McGuire Mariner 
late of H M Ship Sceptre of 74 Guns Captain Ballard 
Commander but now a prisoner of War in the Depot of Augers 
Department de Maine et Loire being of sound mind and 
Judgement but weakly of body for divers good causes & 
considerations me hereunto moving do Substitute & appoint my 
dear Brother and Sister Thomas McGuire and Catherine McGuire 
of the parish of Clonmel County of Farmanna Ireland to be my 
true & lawful Attorneys to recover in my name and for their 
use each one half all wages prize money bounty Money & all 
other sum or sums that may now be due or which may hereafter 
become due to me from H M Ship Sceptre and I do hereby 
disannul and revoke all & every other power hitherto made 
allowing nothing Else but this to be my last Will and 
Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
seal this twentieth day of March in the Year of our Lord one 
thousand Eight hundred and fourteen Andrew McGuire his X
