In the name of God Amen this is the last will and Testament 
of me John Templeton Seaman belonging to His Majestys Ship 
La Sybille No on the Ships Book 532 who am at present in a 
weak state of Body but of sound mind and understanding that 
is to say I give and bequeath unto my beloved Mother Mary 
Templeton of the parish of Lusk in the County of Dublin 
Widow all my wages prize money money which may accrue by the 
sale of my Cloaths and all other effects whatsoever which I 
may be possessed of at the time of my decease hereby 
empowering her to receive the same from the Treasurer of His 
Majestys Navy And I do nominate and appoint my beloved 
Mother Mary Templeton aforesaid Executrix of this my last 
Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my 
hand this twenty eighth Day of October One thousand eight 
hundred and two John Templeton his X Mark Witness to the 
signing hereof by the Testator Joseph Corbyn 1st Lieut

Administration with Will annexed to Judith Templeton 
Spinster the Sister and next of kin Mary Templeton having 
died in the lifetime of the deceased
