In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Donnellan of the City of 
Dublin Linen Merchant being in Perfect health of Body and of 
sound mind memory and understanding but knowing the 
uncertainties of this life do make and publish this my last 
Will and Testament in manner following that is to say I 
order and direct that all my Just Debts and Legacies shall 
be Paid by my Executors herein after named with all 
convenient Speed after my decease and as for such worldly 
substance as God has pleased to bless me with I give and 
dispose of the same as follows that is to say I give and 
bequeath to my Wife Catherine Donnellan otherwise Kelly the 
sum of ten pounds Sterling to buy Mourning I give and 
bequeath to my Nephew Arthur Donnellan the sum of ten pounds 
Sterling to buy Mourning And as to all the rest residue and 
remainder of my Estates Real freehold or Personal Goods 
Chattels Debts Effects and Substance of what nature or kind 
soever whereof I shall die seized possessed of or in any 
manner intitled unto I give devise and bequeath the same and 
every part thereof unto my Daughters Elizabeth Donnellan and 
Catherine Donnellan to be equally divided between them share 
and share alike And I do hereby nominate constitute and 
appoint my said my Daughters Elizabeth Donnellan and 
Catherine Donnellan and my friends Thomas Dowse of Killmolin 
in the County of Wicklow Gent and Lawrence Pearson of the 
City of Dublin Gent Executors of this my Will and I leave to 
each of my said Executors ten pounds Ster: hereby revoking 
all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made 
or spoken and declare and publish this and none other as and 
for my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have 
hereunto and to a Duplicate hereof put my Hand and Affixed 
my Seal this twenty eighth day of February One thousand 
seven hundred and seventy eight Pat Donnellan

I Patrick Donnellan of the City of Dublin in the Kingdom of 
Ireland Linen Merchant being now at Chester Fair in the 
Kingdom of Great Britain indisposed in Body but of perfect 
mind memory and understanding do make and publish this as a 
Codicil to be annexed to my Will in manner following that is 
to say Whereas I have made and published my last Will and 
Testament in Writing and have nominated and appointed 
Lawrence Pearson of the said City of Dublin and Thomas Dowse 
of Kelmalin in the County of Wicklow in the said Kingdom of 
Great Britain Gentleman Executors thereof And whereas it may 
be convenient for the management of my Affairs that one of 
my Executors should be resident in England I do therefore by 
this Codicil which I direct to be added to my said Will and 
taken as part thereof nominate constitute and appoint 
William Blackmoor of Henrietta Street Covent Garden in the 
County of Middlesex in the said Kingdom of Great Britain 
Taylor and Executor of my said Will jointly with the said 
Lawrence Pearson and Thomas Dowse And I do give to the said 
Lawrence Pearson Thomas Dowse and William Blackmoor the same 
power and authority in all respects as I have by my said 
Will given to the said Lawrence Pearson and Thomas Dowse And 
in all other matters and things I confirm my said Will In 
Witness whereof I the said Patrick Donnellan have to my said 
Will and to a Duplicate thereof of the same date and 
contents set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of 
October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred 
and seventy nine Patt Donnellan

Servant Proved at London with a Codicil 24 Novmber 1779 by 
the Oaths of Elizabeth and Catherine Donnellan power
